University Bursaries
This scheme has been set up in the memory of the late Fred Moules - A former Trustee of the Charity and Mayor of Malmesbury.
University Bursaries are for Malmesbury School students only. Applications are to come via the School. Eligibility To receive a bursary of up to £1000, you must be about to commence an approved university course. It is essential that you make contact with MACT before any application proceeds. 1. Vulnerable Young People This group covers young people who are looked after by the Local Authority (In Care) or care leavers. Also students in receipt of Income Support or Universal Credit because they are financially supporting themselves and/or themselves and dependents. Students receiving Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payments in their own right as well as Employment and Support Allowance or Universal Credit in their own right. The award for this group of young people is up to £1000 per student. 2. Discretionary Bursary A discretionary Bursary may be awarded to young people:

Please note that Malmesbury School will play a key role in approving any application given their knowledge of the applicant and Malmesbury School will complete the application and forward to the charity whose trustees will decide whether a grant is to be made. |
