What is MACT?
Malmesbury Area Community Trust is a 'local' registered charity which allocates sums of money to those on low or restricted incomes, or in financial need in the Malmesbury Community Area, North Wiltshire.
Can we help you?
The aim of the trust is to give funds (grants) for specific purposes or for the purchase of items, but not usually for ongoing maintenance costs.
The following list shows some examples of previous grants awarded. This is for guidance only and grants may be given for other purposes or items. All applications are considered. University Bursary?A bursary of up to £1000 may be available if you need help and are starting an approved university course. Applications for funds are to come to MACT via Malmesbury School. schemes. This is to assist with the purchase of work equipment, travel
and other costs.

Help for an emergency?In an emergency, we are able to make grants
quickly up to a maximum of £500. What is the Malmesbury Community Area?You may apply for a grant if you are in the Malmesbury Community Area. This includes Malmesbury town plus a large area of villages surrounding it and covers 20 parishes in total. Some of the larger villages are shown below, but not all.

Who may apply for a grant?
Individuals of all ages, families, deserving projects or groups and educational establishments within the Malmesbury Community Area.
